2019 Recap

February is the ideal time to hit the highlights of the previous year. Why? Everybody else publishes their top 10 lists and year in review listicles in December, and it’s so hard to compete with that kind of crowd. Also, I didn’t start blogging until February.

So here are the 17 photos from 2019 that gloss over the nearly awesome, the not exactly awesome and definitely unawesome parts of the year. Enjoy.

April— volunteering with the Appalachian Mountain Club in Quincy Quarries
Late May— Day hike up Mt. Moosilauke
Early June— late afternoon day hike on the Welch-Dickey loop
Early July— Day hike escaping the holiday weekend crowds on Franconia Ridge
Late July— Day hike on Cathedral peak in Yosemite National Park

Early August— Day hike to the top of the rock pile (summit of Mt. Washington)
